| 1: Players must be 18 or older. This game will have adult themes and deal with sex, drugs, and violence that are better suited for adult players. 2: Please be courteous to other players. This is just a game. It is for fun. Having to deal with players who are rude, obnoxious, and generally disrespect for is not fun. Please act like adults and try not to wreck the fun for everyone else. 3: No god-modding or power plays. The characters are not all powerful and players cannot do whatever they like. If you want to do something with/to another character then ask the player. 4: All characters require a separate journal. That means: when you get accepted to the game you have to create a character journal you cannot use a personal journal to play in this game. NOTE!!! DO NOT create a character journal before you get accepted to the game. WAIT until the mod emails you back, telling you that you are accepted. 5: Players must post bi-weekly. Once a week is preferred but we'll let you get away with going two weeks without a post. If you do not post within three weeks, the mod will email you and wait three days. If the mod doesn't hear from you your character's out of the game. 6: Please use proper punctuation. That means none of this: "i was walking to janes" or this: "I hAtE tHe WaY tHiS lOoKs". Please use capitals in the right places. 7: Posts must be at least a small paragraph. No one sentence posting please. 8: Application information must be posted in your journal Once you've been accepted to the game, please post your application information in your character journal or on the profile page. 9: This should be a no-brainer but...read the rules throughly before applying. If you have read the rules throughly then prove it. When you send your application put the following in your subject line: [Monsters are real: Character Name] 10: Players are limited to having three characters only. Please do not ask for anymore characters and before applying for more than one character, please consider whether or not you have time to play more than one character. |

Why? Because these journals will be used as methods of communication between the characters.+When you set up your character journal, the first thing you should do is post your character application in either the profile page or as a journal entry. Example +Then make another entry that is the characters voicemail. This is for other characters to "call" (i.e-comment) to your character and leave them messages. Example +Character journals will also be used as a method to email other characters in the game, as seen here: Example +Players may make OOC posts in their character journals but please put them behind lj-cuts.
